Course Overview

This qualification will be of value to a range of practitioners working with learners in the Lifelong Learning Sector:

  • Vocational teachers who are embedding English into their vocational courses.
  • Functional Skills teachers who are working with learners who are developing English skills
  • English teachers who are working with adults and young people who are developing English.

Entry Requirements

All potential candidates will be interviewed. While there are no specific entry requirements we will need to establish that your English skills are good enough for you to progress to studying English at level 3.

This is a 20-week course, with three hours a week spent in class and two hours a week assigned to independent study.
