This qualification will be of value to a range of practitioners working with learners in the Lifelong Learning Sector:
- Vocational teachers who are embedding English into their vocational courses.
- Functional Skills teachers who are working with learners who are developing English skills
- English teachers who are working with adults and young people who are developing English.
All potential candidates will be interviewed. While there are no specific entry requirements we will need to establish that your English skills are good enough for you to progress to studying English at level 3.

Teaching and Learning Methods
This is a 20-week course, with three hours a week spent in class and two hours a week assigned to independent study.
Our expert tutors understand that everyone learns in different ways so they use a range of teaching methods to enable everyone to achieve their potential. These include presentations, individual assessments and team activities.

All staff involved in the delivery of business to business courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. Our teaching staff are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
