Modules and Assessment
Teaching and Learning Methods
We will conduct an initial diagnostic assessment of your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. This will determine the session we place you in.
You will have an opportunity to study ESOL in College for 3 hours a week over a period of 30 weeks. You could also carry out independent study online via our virtual learning environment – Moodle. This way you can practise your English grammar and other skills outside of College.
We use a variety of teaching methods to allow a broad mix of students to develop their English language skills. These include role play, group work and interactive activities.
There is no work placement but we do provide opportunities to link with employers through employer visits.
