Students will have the opportunity to develop confidence, competence and the application skills to use mathematics to solve problems.
We can offer you a place on this course if you have a grade D at GCSE or Functional Skills at Level 2 in the relevant subject. We can also offer you an initial assessment if you do not already have a grade D. You will be expected to achieve 70% on the initial assessment.

The course is delivered over 30 weeks and you can choose from the different times, days and venues across the College to suit your circumstances. During the course, we offer the opportunity to access learning online which is supported by a range of excellent interactive resources.

All staff involved in the delivery of adult education courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
