Course Overview

There are many components that comprise a Maths Blended Learning model, including, instructor-delivered content, e-learning, webinars, conference calls, live or online sessions with instructors, and other media and events, for example, bespoke online learning programmes, Facebook, e-mail, chat rooms, blogs, podcasting, YouTube and Skype.

This course aims to develop your maths skills to help with things like managing money or helping children with homework and even to progress at work. It provides a nationally-recognised qualification delivered through Blended Learning – a mixture of mostly online learning and occasional face-to-face teaching methods. The benefits are obvious – learning at a time, pace and place that suits you.

Entry Requirements

To do this course, you will need to be committed to developing your maths skills. You also need to be over 19 years of age before 1 August of the year in which you intend to study. The course is available to those who are employed as well as unemployed.

Teaching is mostly delivered via online learning. Face-to-face teaching methods are also scheduled with additional sessions available as necessary.
