Develop skills in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with this 6-week course. ICT skills are essential for many aspects of modern life and highly valued by employers. With this innovative and creative course, you’ll develop the specialist skills you need for work or just to self-improve. Based in a friendly workroom environment with access to cutting edge technology, our expert tutors will guide you through a range of topics as you develop proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel. The course leads to a nationally-recognised City and Guilds qualification that will allow you to progress at work and/or to further study.

You must be 19 or over to do this course. You don't need any specific qualifications but we do expect you to have commitment, motivation and enthusiasm.
Modules and Assessment
Teaching and Learning Methods
You will need to attend College for a 3-hour session each week, for 6 weeks.
The course is delivered in a dedicated workroom, with laptops and/or PCs available for you to use during the session.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
