This course will cover: An introduction to the technologies employed within the renewable energy sectors with the aim of familiarising candidates of how these technologies are integrated into existing infrastructure enabling the production of clean renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions and exploring the option of income generation through feed in tariffs (FID).
No prior qualifications are required.
This course is designed for anyone working in local authorities and county councils as Energy Efficiency Officers, Conservation Officers, Regeneration Officers, Planning Departments, Elderly or Vulnerable People’s Departments, Housing Departments or Estates, Surveyors, Architects, English Heritage, National Trust, North West Heritage Trust, NHS Hospital Trusts Estate Managers, Care Provider Organisations, Retirement Home Managers, Housing Associations, Housing Developers, Homes and Communities Agencies, Landlords and home owners.
Teaching and Learning Methods
This one-day course is delivered at our Lancashire Energy Headquarters in Blackpool by our expert tutors. Learning is by a combination of theory and practical interaction including the use of thermal imaging equipment, electrical generators, air source heat pumps, domestic battery pack and Stirling Engine demonstration.
