Refresh Your AM2 and Meet Current Standards with the AM2E Unit

This Assessment is for you if you are completing your Experienced Worker Assessment, (EWA) but have already achieved an AM2 Assessment which you did after April 2010.

How You'll Learn

The AM2E Assessment is an assessment rather than a training course so you will not be expected to learn any additional information or skills during this time.

Expert tutors

All tutors involved in the delivery of courses and/or assessments within the College are approved to teach and/or assess the subjects and modules they deliver.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering and/or assessing a given programme are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.

How You'll Be Assessed

The AM2E Unit Assessment is conducted over a total of 4 hours, with additional time to read instructions and prepare for each task.

You'll perform tasks in specially equipped booths that simulate typical electrical installation wiring systems and be observed by specially trained assessors who will ensure you are carrying out all the practical elements of the Assessment to the required standard both from a technical point of view and in line with health and safety procedures.
