This 10-week course allows you to train (or re-train) as a plasterer.
If you are already skilled in one or more trades, this course will give you greater versatility in your area of work. It is also suitable for those who are looking to undertake DIY projects at home.
The focus is on developing key plastering skills, learning about topics such as site preparation and application, materials storage, finishes and mixing techniques, and skimming different backgrounds. You will also gain an understanding of current health and safety regulations.
The course runs from 6-9pm one night a week at the Bispham Campus.
There are no specific qualifications needed to enrol on this course.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Expert, friendly tutors will encourage you to develop your practical skills within a construction site setting. The emphasis is on replicating good industry practice, and observing health and safety requirements at every stage. Learning is designed to be interactive to ensure you gain a thorough understanding of each topic.
