Learning and Teaching Methods

Varied teaching methods to develop high level learning skills will be used in the session. The one day practical session will be delivered in a newly refurbished realistic working environment. 

Expert Tutors

All staff involved in the delivery of adult education courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.

Assessment Methods

There are no formal assessments within this session but your tutor will be observing your practical work throughout the day. You will need to demonstrate your practical skills whilst ensuring that you are following the specific health and safety within the salon environment to ensure safety and competence.

Other Costs and Equipment Needed

There are no additional costs associated with this course and equipment to complete the training will be supplied by the College. On completing the course, you may wish to purchase a kit so you can refine your new skills. Details will be provided during the training.

On completion of this Blackpool and The Fylde College Certificate, you will need to liaise with your insurance company in relation to your cover.
