Qualification ObtainedAward in Contact Dermatitis Prevention Industry Placement and Field TripsThere is no industry placement or field trip attached to this course. Your tutors will support you with these technologies and also in preparing for exams. Tuition is timetabled over 1 day. The course also incorporates periods of self-study (which your tutor will guide you on) and you will also need to devote additional time (outside of timetabled hours) to your learning. Expert Tutors All staff involved in the delivery of adult education courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice. Assessment MethodsThe course content focuses on identifying the symptoms of contact dermatitis and how to put appropriate measures for this in place, within a salon environment. You will be required to pass one exam as well as some written questions, to be completed as home study. Other Costs and Equipment NeededYou will need to provide your own stationery, including pens, notepad and an A4 folder. The purchase of a fob watch is optional. If you need a replacement ID badge, the cost will be £3 (or £8 if incorporated with a bus pass). We supply up to 80 free black and white photocopies per student.
