Key information Entry RequirementsDomestic core gas safety CCN1 and appliances is mandatory.Evidence of holding LPG qualifications previously or having completed training is desirable. Qualification obtainedACS Natural Gas to LPG Training Extra costs and equipmentAll equipment and materials are provided by the centre, candidates are asked to wear their own safety footwear in workshop environments. What will I learn? What will I learn?This course will provide you with the training required to prepare for assessment of installation, testing, purging, commissioning and servicing of LPG storage, pipework and appliances. Industry placement, field trips and guest speakersA portfolio of work is only required if part of validation of training following a gas managed learning programme. How will I learn? Classroom and workshop-based training to provide the knowledge and skills to prepare for assessment, split 50/50 with practical and multiple choice questions mainly based around the difference in pressure and ventilation differences between domestic natural gas and LPG.
