What will I learn? Key information Where could this course take me? Course SummaryThis two-day core gas safety training course is designed to prepare candidates for CCN1 assessment. It is especially suited to those with little or no formal gas safety experience who want to get to grips with all the key elements of planning, installing and maintaining domestic gas systems safely and competently. It is also useful refresher training for those who may have been out of the industry for a while and who need to get up to speed with the latest technical and regulatory developments. Entry RequirementsThere are no formal entry requirements for this programme. Please note: Where wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a mandatory requirement of the course, it is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that they are able to wear such equipment. Qualification ObtainedCCN1 Natural Gas Safety Training Industry Placement and Field TripsNo field trips or work placements are associated with this course. Learning and Teaching MethodsTraining takes place in our dedicated Gas Training Centre which provides a simulated environment in which candidates can practise the skills and procedures demonstrated by the tutors. Training is also given to ensure that the candidate has the underpinning knowledge to complete the written sections when completing the assessment. Expert Tutors All staff involved in the delivery of business to business courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. Our teaching staff are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
