Learning Resource Centres

Our Learning Resource Centres, which have recently enjoyed substantial investment, offer excellent facilities and are equipped with everything you need to help you study and succeed!

Our well-equipped Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) are staffed by experts who can help you find all the material you need to support your learning goals and produce academic work of the highest quality.

As well as a substantial library of reference material, the College also offers access to a comprehensive range of 24/7 online resources to help fit your studies into your lifestyle whether on campus or at home.

 

Facilities and support available

  • Access to Print, e-books and Journals. We also subscribe to many online databases, giving you access to thousands of full text articles, journals and other resources
  • Access to KeyLinks reading lists – where all your core text and recommended reading for your course available in one place
  • We offer individual, group and online searching support sessions
  • A range of different study areas including group study areas, digital lounge and quiet study areas
  • PCs, Mac’s and laptops available for use within the LRC
  • Printing, scanning and photocopying facilities
  • Our self-service kiosks make it quick and easy to check out, renew and return books
  • Borrow a laptop free of charge whilst on campus using the self-service iLockerz
  • Access to help and support including academic study skills
  • Wi-Fi access
  • Accessible resources including SensusAccess and Read & Write Software. Please get in touch for further information
