Whether you want to do A Levels or one of our vocational courses - or even if you’ve already left school and perhaps didn’t get the qualifications you expected – we can help you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to begin your chosen career.

Our vocational sections demonstrate how you can move up through the various levels, in many cases progressing to a university course right here at the College. In these and in the A Level section, we’ve included lots of information about the sorts of careers you could go on to do in your chosen area. Hopefully, this will help you to reach a decision about which is the right course for you.

There is a myth about vocational courses being ‘easier’ than A Levels. Not so. Vocational courses require just as much personal commitment and aptitude as A Levels and in some instances (Maritime Operations and Engineering for example) an even higher standard of academic attainment. The career opportunities are equally exciting and rewarding.
