Lauren Carr - BA (Hons) Acting

The Performing Arts course at Blackpool and The Fylde College appealed to me because it meant I could focus entirely on subjects that interested me in an environment that seemed very mature.

The course itself was very hands-on and I found the staff and other students welcoming and friendly which made my time on the National Diploma very enjoyable. In fact, it was one of the reasons that I felt very positive about staying on here to do my degree.

The teaching I received prepared me well for the work I’m doing now and the guidance I was given made me confident about auditioning at the next level. The course was incredibly good preparation for my degree and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking seriously about becoming a professional actor
