Facilities – an outstanding place to learn

Within our Art, Fashion and Design Centre and our new, purpose-built University Centre you’ll find state-of-the-art learning resources along with specialist studios all with the latest industry-standard equipment. The University Centre also houses a superb theatre and a public art gallery.

Learner achievement

The School’s long history of competition success continued recently as learners won at the RSA Awards, the Penguin Book Awards and the National Business Calendar Awards. Our learners have also made live TV appearances on the BBC’s Children in Need (College Choir) and Channel 5’s Don’t Stop Believing (BA (Hons) Musical Theatre learners as song and dance sensation Sorority).

Enrichment – putting learning into context

Our programmes feature live briefs and commissions which enhance employability and expose your talents to key industry contacts. We also involve employers in the design of our programmes to ensure their relevance to industry. The regeneration of Blackpool has sparked a rebirth of the town’s creative industries and talented individuals will be needed to keep the momentum going.
