Calling all MOT testing stations

Published: Tuesday 7 June 2016

An open invitation is being extended to the automotive industry to learn more about forthcoming changes to MOT tester training.

B&FC has been chosen to host an awareness event on Wednesday 15 June on behalf of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

A presentation by the IMI will explain how garages will be affected by new assessment criteria and CPD requirements for potential MOT testers. There will also be a chance to discuss where the new qualification can be delivered.

There are two sessions available: 8.30-10.30am (which includes bacon sandwiches) or 6-8.30pm. Both sessions take place at the College's award-winning Advanced Technology Centre on Ashfield Road, Bispham Members of the IMI Lancashire Members Association can attend for free, non-members will be charged a £5 fee.

Booking is essential as space is limited - visit http://www.theimi.org.uk/member-association/mot-changes to do so online.

When relevant to your job role, attending this event is worth three CPD credits towards professional registration. To log your CPD activities please visit the IMI website.
