LSFC Students celebrate success Lytham Sixth Form College is enjoying great success with this year’s A-Level results. Basking in a pass rate of 99.4%, the College saw an impressive 59.1% of students achieving A*-B grades with over 42% of students achieving A or A* grades.

Mandy Pritchard, Head of Lytham Sixth Form College, said: “I am pleased that we have had a very good set of A Level results and it is a testament to the hard work put in by both staff and students over the last year.

We are also extremely proud of our students who undertook Extended Diplomas, with 98% achieving a pass and almost 80% receiving high grades (equivalent to A*-B at A level).

This was the first academic year for Lytham Sixth Form College and we have been very impressed with the way students have managed the transition to their new learning environment, which provides a completely different experience from a traditional high school. Their contribution to the creation of the College and their input into College life has been greatly appreciated.

I am also pleased that so many of our students have now secured places at their first choice universities or are embarking on their chosen career, and I wish them the very best for the future.”
