It is important to remember that you need to apply to the post. You should look to demonstrate clearly how you meet all the criteria for the post – especially the essential ones. When completing the application form please make sure that you detail the entire period since leaving full time education and explain any gaps in employment.

You will need two references, one of which must be from your current employer. You should therefore nominate a senior person from your present employment as one of your referees, (or your most recent employer/training establishment). We would normally prefer to have references prior to interview but acknowledge that some candidates prefer us not to contact their current employer prior to an interview.

If you are offered a post at the College the employment offer is conditional upon you completing the documentation to enable us to check any police record you may have. This is a legal requirement.

Failure to provide correct information can invalidate any Contract of Employment which may be offered. Any information given will be completely confidential and will be considered only in relation to applications for positions within this College.
