Blackpool and The Fylde College makes every effort to ensure that the information on courses published on its web site, and in its publications, is up-to-date and accurate. Terms and Conditions

Where courses are run over more than one year, the tuition fee shown is for one year only. Fees for subsequent years are subject to review. Courses are run subject to minimum class sizes. Full-time course fees for FE courses may be waived for EU Nationals. Non-EU residents are required to pay the full fee. For further information please contact the International officers on 01253 504322. Government rules on funding and benefits may change up to the point of enrolment. Fees are not refundable unless the College cancels the course, changes the day or time of the course, or the learner cannot attend for medical reasons (a medical note will be required).

Admissions Terms and Conditions

If you are under 19 we may discuss your application and its status with your parent / guardian. If you do not wish us to do this, please inform the Admissions Office.

If you need help/support at your interview but have not ticked the box on your application form, please contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible and before your interview date so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If you have an ‘on-course’ learning difficulty/disability or medical condition and you have not put this on your application form, you will need to contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible so it can be added.

If you have indicated, or we consider you to be, an overseas student you may be required to pay overseas tuition fees. If applicable, the College will contact you separately and may need additional information from you.

Some courses have additional costs such as equipment, uniforms, visits, etc which you will be told about at interview. In most cases, these will be estimated costs at this stage.

Please note that a prospectus is merely a guide to our course provision and the College cannot guarantee its provision in the event of circumstances beyond its control but, in such an event, will endeavour to provide an alternative where possible.

College statement on provision of educational services

Blackpool and The Fylde College undertakes to take all reasonable steps to provide the teaching, examination, assessment and other educational services set out on this website. It does not, however, guarantee the provision of such services. Should industrial action or circumstances beyond the control of the College interfere with its ability to provide educational services, the College undertakes to use all reasonable steps to minimise the resultant disruption to those services.
