Here at the Blackpool and The Fylde College the First Aid Team have held the HSE approval for First Aid at Work since 1992. We have continuously supported a wide variety of local employers and organisations to meet their First Aid and Moving & Handling (People) needs, by providing stimulating and practical courses in our purpose built First Aid Suite.

We believe that these skills are important, but equally important is that candidates are given the confidence to use their new skills effectively when called upon to do so. Participants on the course/s master the skills in a way that is student centred, flexible and accommodates different learning styles. We feel this approach gives the learner the confidence to put their training into practice when they return to their work environment.

Besides providing scheduled courses we can offer bespoke deliveries tailored specifically to your businesses needs for groups of up to 12 candidates per session. Courses can be broken down into “bite size” chunks to meet your operational requirements – for example a First Aid for Babies and Children course is a total of 12 guided learning hours and can be split into either 2 full days or 4 x 3 hour sessions over a period of days/weeks.
