The ceremonies are always extremely successful and enjoyable events. To make sure everything goes smoothly we’ve put together the following checklist of things you need to be aware of and actually do before the event takes place.
Secure your place
Once you’ve checked the date and time of your ceremony you should register your attendance and request tickets using the online booking form. You need to return it to us by Friday 25th May 2012.
Ticket allocation for guests
Each graduate is allowed to bring two guests. Requests for additional tickets will be allocated, if available, on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee the allocation of extra tickets.
Disabilities and special requirements
For students or guests with disabilities or special requirements, please fill in the relevant section of our online booking form to enable us to make the necessary arrangements.
Robe hire
The ceremony is a formal occasion and so you’re required to wear full academic robes, which you’ll need to obtain yourself. They can be hired from our official robe-makers, J Wippell and Co Ltd, however you’ll need to place your order by Friday 15th June. Recommended dress for beneath the robes is a suit and tie for men and a plain dress or skirt/trouser suit for women.
Photography
The official photographers on the day will be Tempest Photography.
Outstanding debts
If you have any outstanding debts to the College, including unpaid tuition fees or registration fees and library fines you must clear these by Friday 22nd June 2012. After this date, if you still have debts outstanding, you will not be issued with a certificate nor allowed to attend the ceremony.
