Our annual higher education awards event is a spectacular occasion, representing the culmination of masses of dedication and hard work, and the gateway to an exciting and rewarding future. To make sure your ceremony is one to remember, read through these pages carefully, taking account of all the things you need to do – we’ve included a checklist to help you.

Where and when

The graduation ceremonies will take place in the Empress Ballroom of Blackpool’s spectacular Winter Gardens, on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th July 2012. Different schools are assigned to each day - to find out when your school graduates go to our page on ceremony dates and times.

Securing your place

It’s very important that you complete and return the electronic booking form by Friday 25th May 2012. If you don’t confirm your attendance, we’ll assume you’re not coming and we won’t allocate you any tickets. Everyone who is invited to the ceremony is expected to graduate, so even if you feel uncertain about the outcome of your course you should still complete the booking form.

Ticket allocation

Once we receive your booking form, we’ll contact you again the week beginning 11th June when we’ll send you your allocation of guest tickets. If you don’t hear from us at this time please get in touch with us to make sure your place has been allocated.
