The doors to our stunning new University Centre are now open!

Conveniently located in Central Blackpool, this fantastic new facility is a multi-million pound redevelopment of the existing site, with the result a stylish and functional example of ‘traditional meets new’.

New features include:

• The Central Hub, a stunning open-plan building where students can access state-of-the art learning resources, advice and information, and a multi-style refectory.
• New teaching accommodation, creating a pleasant and stimulating learning environment.
• Our recently extended Theatre, a fabulous teaching resource as well as a leading community venue for a host of productions.
• The Gallery, a unique and special addition to the Centre, housing works by our own students and by independent artists.

Keen to be green

We’re a Fairtrade College with a dedicated Sustainability Officer, Collegewide car share scheme and we’ve signed up to the ‘Green Colleges Declaration’ – that’s right, we’re a College committed to being green.

The new University Centre, with initiatives such as pro-cycling facilities and a rainwater harvesting system, mean we have achieved a nationally recognised ‘Excellent’ rating for sustainable design and environmental performance. We even have Lancashire’s first reverse-vend recycling machine!
