Course Overview

This qualification develops the knowledge and skills for all those who wish to work in a supervised support role within clinical healthcare workforce settings in. It is made up of a mixture of mandatory units, and optional units based on skills or knowledge. It has specialised units for learners wishing to become clinical healthcare support staff and allows learners to achieve above and below the level of the qualification as it also contains units at Level 1 and Level 3. It allows units to be carried forward and counted towards the Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support.

Course Entry Requirements

Learner must be at least 16 years to complete this apprenticeship.  You may be required to complete a DBS screening as you will be working with vulnerable people as an industry requirement. You will also be expected to achieve upon completion of the qualification a Level 1 Functional Skill in Maths and English.
