Customer Service - Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (FDQ)

Course Overview

 The course duration is at least 12 months.

The learner has to undertake 55 credits of which 31 credits are mandatory, these units are:

  • Organise and deliver customer service
  • Understand the customer service environment
  • Understand customers and customer retention
  • Resolve customers’ problems
  • Principles of business
  • Manage personal and professional development

There are many optional units that meet your individual circumstances, they include:

  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Gather, analyse and interpret customer feedback
  • Exceed customer expectations
  • Develop customer relationships
  • Monitor the quality of customer service interactions
  • Manage to use of technology to improve customer service.
  • Manage team performance
  • Collaborate with other departments
  • Obtaining and analysing sales related information
  • Buyer behaviours in sales situations
  • Lead direct sales activities in a contact centre team

Principle units are completed in a prescribed workbook / guided discussion with assessor.

Course Entry Requirements

 

To apply for the Level 3 Customer Service there are no mandatory entry requirements for this Apprenticeship framework. However Employers are looking to attract applicants who have a keen interest in excellent customer service and will demonstrate a “can do" attitude and have at least basic numeracy and literacy skills on which the Apprenticeship will build.

 You will be invited to attend an Interview with the related Curriculum area to give advice and guidance about the job role and qualification. You will be required to undertake initial assessments in Maths and English.

 To be an apprentice you need to be working a minimum of 30 hours per week in the related occupation of your chosen apprenticeship and be at least 16 years old.  Our Skills & Business team can support you with this and we often have a good selection of employers looking to recruit an apprentice
