GCE AS Level in Use of Mathematics
This course contains 3 modules. They are:
Using and applying decision Maths; Working with Algebraic and graphical techniques;
Applying mathematics.
This course seeks to apply Maths to actual situations and show how Maths is used in life.
2 of 3 modules are assessed as 50% coursework and 50% exam. Only the third module Applying Maths, is 100% exam assessed.
This course acts as support to many other A Level courses, e.g. Psychology, Business Studies, Biology and provides students with a level 3 Mathematics qulaification which will strongly enhance their University applications.
