Apprenticeships in Payroll

About this Course:

Studying for the AAT Payroll Administration Qualification will help you gain and develop the skills you need to work successfully in payroll. The AAT qualification is a competence-based practical payroll skills. The majority of students will commence their studies at level 2, however, some may be able to start at a Level 3 depending upon work experience.

Level 2 Certificate (QCF)

  • Maintain employee records
  • Ascertain gross pay
  • Determining net pay
  • Working with computers
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive working environment
  • Achieving personal effectiveness

Entry Requirements: (a minimum of)

4 GCSE's Grade D OR a merit grade at First Certificate or Introductory Diploma OR relevant Foundation (Level 1) qualification.  Must have appropriate employment and able to demonstrate relevant skills at the required level

Assessment Methods:

Candidates are assessed through time-constrained competence-based skills tests and external examinations.

To begin an Apprenticeship, you should ideally be employed already. To apply you will need to fill in an application form and return it to the address shown.
