Course Overview

The ECITB have now made it a mandatory requirement for all bolt tensioning and torquing specialists within the Oil & Gas and Wind Industry to obtain a single industry accepted accreditation for their skills. This course covers Hand Torquing Techniques, Hydraulic Tensioning Techniques and Hydraulic Torquing Techniques.

Specialist practitioners wanting to work in either the Oil & Gas or Wind Industry must have the appropriate certification in place to perform either Hand or Hydraulic bolt tensioning and torquing tasks and will be required to produce a valid in date certificate before being accepted for a project.

This course will cover all aspects of hazards, health and safety, guidance and practical exercises about safe use and good working practices.
