About this Course:

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has over 135,000 members across the UK and Ireland and is seen as the leading professional body in the field of personnel, training and development. CIPD membership and qualifications are highly valued and widely acknowledged to enhance career development and job prospects. They are nationally recognised as a benchmark for professionalism and are a requirement for many personnel and HR development roles. The CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice is a nationally-recognised Level 3 qualification which introduces candidates to the wide range of practical skills required by today's line managers, personnel assistants and administrative staff. It also leads to Associate Membership of the CIPD. Successful completion leads to candidates:

  • The Certificate in Human Resource Practice incorporates the following modules:

  • Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employee Relations
  • Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management

Assessment Methods:

Assessment is carried out through a combination of skills-based assignments, written assignments and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record and plan, with no formal examinations.
