Course Overview

This qualification will be of value to a range of practitioners working with learners in the Lifelong Sector.  It is seen as being particularly valuable as a programme to support teachers in the development of their own personal skills in Mathematics and also a bridging programme to meet the entry requirements of the specialist Diploma in in Teaching Mathematics in the Lifelong Sector.

Course Entry Requirements

As part of the selection process for this award, all potential candidates will be interviewed and will undergo initial assessment of their maths skills. There are no formal entry requirements but there must be confidence that an applicant's numeracy skills are at a standard in order to be able to progress to study of these skills at level 3
