Course Overview

During the first term of the course, students will be introduced to the basics of both HTML and CSS needed in order to create a static website. Throughout the course students will learn about how to make use of the Dreamweaver interface in order to build a selection of webpages made up of a variety of different styles and techniques.

As the term progresses students will be introduced to a variety of techniques that will enable them to create a simple website. These will start off with the absolute basics such as text and image manipulation, and will progress onto such skills as incorporating a fully functioning contacts page within their website.

Some basic computer knowledge would be needed.
