Childcare, Certificate - Entry Level (CACHE)

Certificate in Preparation for Childcare

About this Course:

Your learning will be focussed on the following areas;

  • Pregnancy and the responsible parent
  • Caring for young children
  • Play and learning in the home
  • Skills for life

You will also gain experience working with interactive babies on the Life Choice programme.

Entry Requirements:

Standard requirements, and an interview to prove your commitment to working with children.

Assessment Methods:

An assignment for each unit.

Progression:

In order to work with children you will need to gain a higher qualification. Successful students may progress to the CFCC.

Funding Information

Most students do not have to pay full tuition fees and many students have their course fees waived completely depending on their age and circumstances.
