Beauty Therapy (Other than BTEC)- Level 3

About this Course:

Qualification  VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Beauty , 1 year full time course approx 15 hours per week, you will gain practical skills, in Manicure, Pedicure, Facials, Waxing, Eye treatments, Male facials and Head massage. Along side the practical units you will study Anatomy and Physiology, Reception duties, Health and Safety and business units.   Progress is continually assessed through practical, oral questions and written work. You will be required to buy an approved uniform and kit for the course. This course is delivered at both the Ansdell and Bispham Campuses.

Entry Requirements: (a minimum of)

Pass Level 2 Beauty Therapy

Assessment Methods:

The course is assessed using a variety of methods including observation of practical work, written assignments, case studies, written test papers and externally set assessments.  Students will produce a portfolio of evidence to support the assessments..

The Beauty and Related industry is worth over £5 billion, it has 15,00 employers and over 200,000 full and part time jobs.   On successful completion of the qualification a learner can progress to or within employment and/pr continue their study to HND in the same, or related vocational area.
