The Return to Study course is a one-year, full-time, level 2 course available primarily to learners who have been out of education for some time. Based at the University Centre, you will study five GCSE subjects and can choose from one of three packages: Humanities, Social Science or Science. We offer:

• a supportive learning environment with friendly tutors and like-minded students.
• 15 hours’ class-based study a week, making it possible to work at the same time.
• help with childcare, either in our own nursery or with another childcare provider*
• free tuition to those on certain benefits or if this is your first full-time level 2 course.
• up to £30 per week for learners who are working and earning under a certain amount.
• the chance for successful learners to progress to our Access to Higher Education course .
• a route to a better-paid and more fulfilling career.
