Business and Professional Studies - A-Level Academy

Course Content

You will learn all about how a business works, focusing on areas such as Marketing, Accounting and Finance, and People and Operations Management. You will also learn about how a firm makes strategic decisions and which business leaders have the X factor and are truly visionary. As well as learning the basic principles of business you will spend a lot of time looking at real businesses and how they operate, covering their mistakes and successes. The final part of the A-level course operates at board room level. Are you up to the challenge? Assessment: This involves 2 examinations at AS level, and a further 2 at A-level.

Your Future

Business Studies is a good subject choice for careers in management, retailing, accountancy, human resources management and marketing, to name but a few. A-level students can progress to university education in this or a variety of subjects.
