As part of the College’s ongoing commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, we have implemented two separate car share databases – one for students and one for staff. Once registered, users can search for people making similar journeys and contact them to make arrangements and it’s all free of charge. The system will also suggest possible journey matches for you to save time.

Drivers can search for people to give lifts to, while passengers can search for lifts to the following campuses:

• Bispham
• Univeristy Centre
• Fleetwood
• Ansdell

You can find more than one lift share partner and travel with them on different days or only lift share on certain days of the week when it is convienent.

With the enforcement of the restricted car parking at the University Centre, the new database is proving very useful.
