Prospective students can find out about a number of exciting degree courses at Blackpool and The Fylde College’s Higher Education Open Day on Saturday 20 June.
Courses on offer at the College include unique and specialist subjects in the field of Automotive Manufacture, Coinslot Technology and Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management, as well as the more traditional Accounting, Engineering and Photography programmes, plus many more.
Anyone interested in studying at the College will be able to talk to tutors first hand and get an insight into the course, plus the dedicated Student Support team will be offering advice about funding. The College will also be showcasing its fantastic facilities including a working hair and beauty salon, replica casino and even a fully operational racing car!
This year sees the opening of our multi-million pound ‘Central Hub’ building, featuring a modern new refectory, state of the art learning resource centre and student services area. The new development will also bring together existing HE buildings with impressive landscaping, to create a stylish and functional university-style campus, so there’s never been a better time to attend the College.
Blackpool and The Fylde College is an associate college of Lancaster University, meaning anyone who enrols can benefit from a prized degree awarded by an internationally renowned university. The College is the fourth largest FE provider of HE in the country, offering more than 70 qualifications from diplomas to post-graduate programmes.
Places are available on courses starting this September, and many are flexible to allow people to study around existing jobs or look after children.
The Open Day takes place at Central Blackpool and Bispham Campuses from 11.00am until 2.00pm. To find out which location you should attend to find out about your course, please call 01253 504343 or visit www.blackpool.ac.uk/degrees/openday.
