Creative Arts - Personal Learning

We leave the overcrowding for the beach.

At Blackpool Creative Arts the class sizes are small. We see that as a big advantage.

We believe that there is a direct relationship between class size and student achievement. That’s why we limit the number of students we accept onto our courses. Smaller class sizes, about 16 to 30 students on average, create a friendly and stimulating environment where people make great friends and have regular one-to-one access to tutors.

Experience has shown that this kind of support benefits students enormously as they can draw on all the knowledge and expertise our team have to offer.

Not only do tutors spend more time in the studio with students, they also have an ‘open door’ policy. This means students always have access to a tutor and can talk to them out of normal class time.

If students need help beyond their academic studies, staff at our Student Advice Centre are on hand to ensure life here runs as smoothly as possible. Help with accommodation, finance, childcare and health issues are all available, together with advice on future career options. For students with disabilities and learning difficulties, additional support is also available from our dedicated Support and Guidance Team. You’ll find their contact details on the back page.
