Score a winning Apprenticeship place with Blackpool Football Club Community Trust!

Blackpool and The Fylde College are delighted to be working in partnership with Blackpool Football Club Community Trust to offer Activity Leadership Apprenticeships.

The programme currently lasts for 26 weeks in which time the Apprentices will complete the following qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Activity Leadership
• Level 2 Certificate in Principals and Preparations for Coaching Sport
• Level 2 Award in Employer Awareness Active Leisure
• Level 1 Functional Skills – Maths
• Level 1 Functional Skills – English
• Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
• Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid

Alongside these qualifications Apprentices will gain invaluable experience in a variety of work placements in schools and community projects across the Fylde Coast area.

Principal duties will include; working alongside the community coaches to successfully develop and deliver coaching activities within local placements; to engage with a range of client groups and adhere to/maintain the behaviour code at all times; to attend all classroom tutor sessions and work independently, when required, to achieve the qualifications using an online portfolio accessible from home.
