What will I learn? Key information Where could this course take me? Course SummaryCCN1 is required for anyone wishing to work on domestic gas installations and appliances. In addition, the operative must also hold the relevant appliance element relating to the work they wish to undertake. This programme is a reassessment of your existing CCN1 certification to ensure you are still competent to work safely on a domestic gas system. You need to undertake this reassessment every 5 years which ensures you not only maintain the key knowledge and skills you originally acquired but also keep up to date with technical and regulatory changes which can affect your working practices. Entry RequirementsYou must hold or have held a CCN1 certification to qualify for reassessment. If your certification lapsed more than 12 months ago you will need to undertake the Initial Assessment again rather than the Reassessment. The Natural Gas Safety Initial Assessment is also available at B&FC and can be booked here. Your previous certificates must be produced at the time of reassessment as evidence that you hold the original certification.. Please note: Where wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a mandatory requirement of the course, it is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that they are able to wear such equipment.
